With a Chinese background, Berlin-based Yujia Zhai-Petrow, the creative spirit behind 1913 Berlin, interprets cashmere in a cool and modern way: effortless, ethereal, modern and edgy. Cool comfortable creations created with highest-quality fabrics!
Statement looks which can be worn at any occassion 24 hours per day, made of finest quality yarns from Italy and Mongolia.
Her Spring/ Summer 2013 collection which is presented as a studio presentation on the first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week was characterized by an exclusive mix of defined patterns and ethnic touches in highest quality materials.
Her range of colours is dominated by cool, wearable colours: cornflower blue, chestnut, khaki, mellow yellow but also shades of cream and black.
Yulija proves her detail-awarness in choosing peep-toes and ankle-boots with gorgeous black ribbons on them.
Even more special, also her models are beribboned on their heads!
We can imagine Yujia establishing herself as a sought-after cashmere label and we will have an eye on her upcoming collections…
