The beginning: White

Complete darkness, a bandaged model with two flash lights opened the show walking and contorting throw the runway, and as the lights dimmed on, there came the pristine white, the nurse-inspired outfits, safety pins as stitches not as accessories, a severe clinical feel, and Alice Dellal wearing a backless white apron.

The plot: Colours

Green, ice blue, yellow, red, orange and fuchsia. Pam Hogg’s signature catsuits in bold bright colours. Futuristic and other-worldly. The textures became more substantial, using lycra, metallic PVC and flamboyant ruffles.

The climax: Black

Architectural, cage-like skirts, dresses and headpieces, black as ravens, making a dramatic final statement.
