Beauty
Rodarte’s sleepwalkers

You are probably worried about tan at the moment; but don’t worry too much. Fall-winter beauty trends are unanimously banning it!
Rodarte is taking the pallid faces trend a step further with its whitish show. The face should be white and smooth as a pearl, with iridescent glows on the upper cheeks. The opalescent effect is reminiscent of mermaids, but it is also a crossover between Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. Yes, Grimm brothers, Perrault and Andersen are the creators of the beauty icons of this fall, especially if you are too bored with the diva trend (red lipstick and wavy hair).

Sleeping Beauty has a white face, halfway between life and death, just like Rodarte‘s sleepwalkers. The white face is also reminiscent of other well-known dreamy figures, such as the lunar Columbine or the white clown.

You got the picture: we are not talking about a natural nude look anymore, but about striking unnatural nudes. The skin is snow nude and the eyes are just a little darker, wearing the shadows of sleep. Dark hair-pale face is a must for a more frightening twist (contrast always wins), let’s say a dead-looking Snow White; but honey tones are the key for the softer Sleeping Beauty wannabe. Who are you going to be by candlelight?
