Rick Owens’ bracelets
If you’re looking for the it pieces for spring at the jewellery-store, Rick Owens’ bracelets are the answer. They evoke statues more than jewels, reminding futuristic sculptures. The play with metals and metallic colors was one of the trademarks of Owens’ collection; he managed to give his clothes strange rounded angles, present in his bracelets too. Those are not minimalistic, on the contrary: they are precious oversize decorations, meant to be worn four by four. The gold one is even more subtle than the lacquered black one, thanks to its -already shed- patina.

Umberto Boccioni’s Sculpture (1913)
…how can you resist then choosing a piece that looks like it’s made of parts of an old frame, and that recalls futuristic art struggles ?

Both bracelets are available at luisaviaroma
