Romace Was Born has become the most important and refreshing designer duo from Australia. Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales have seduced with their prints and colorful clothes even the fashion forward star Cate Blanchett, who’s always on the front row of their shows. For pre Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, Romance Was Born gave their own vision about ‘Neverending Story’, the 1984 movie. Dreamy dresses, embroidered tops, pearls, draping and a lot of details conquered the fashion lovers for the Spring/Summer 2011 edition. One detail was above everything: some models wore frames as a headpiece, maybe inspired by a very popular fashion house that used the same concept. Karl Lagerfeld put his models on the runway for Chanel Haute Couture 2008 show with frames for their faces.
