Versus: Instant lift
In November 2008, Vogue Paris had on its cover the actress and singer Vanessa Paradis in a portrait by Mert & Marcus. The style was very similar to Guy Bourdin’s pictures, but its most atemporal feature thing is clearly the pose, which stroke again in Dior New Look mascara ad last February. The official face is Natalie Portman, in a close-up with her arms and hands around her face. Déjà vu, anyone?
